Whether designed as a simple cocktail cabinet, or a statement bar, it brings a sense of occasion to the everyday.

The current trend for home bars speaks to a wider shift in how we live and entertain.

Clients want homes that feel sociable, atmospheric and deeply personal, with spaces that invite people to gather.

We can create full-height cabinetry, open bottle displays, backlit shelving, sink runs, stone worktops, glass-fronted cabinets, wine storage, base cupboards and elegant serving surfaces. The design can be bold and atmospheric, with darker timbers, bronze details and soft lighting, or lighter and more architectural with clean lines, natural oak and refined glass.

The material palette is central to the mood of a bar or wine room. These are spaces where texture, reflection and shadow can be used to create depth and drama.

Popular finishes include:

  • Walnut cabinetry

  • Oak or smoked oak interiors

  • Painted bar cabinetry

  • Reeded glass doors

  • Smoked glass display cabinets

  • Antique mirror or bronze mirror

  • Brass, bronze or blackened metal details

  • Fluted timber panels

  • Stone, quartz or marble worktops

  • Integrated warm lighting

  • Open shelving and bottle displays

  • Bespoke wine racking

Each finish is chosen to enhance the atmosphere of the room.

Materials That Create Atmosphere.

A wine room is both practical and beautiful. It allows a collection to be stored, organised and displayed with care, while creating a refined feature within the home.

Our bespoke wine rooms can be designed for serious collectors, casual enthusiasts or homeowners who want a beautiful entertaining space with considered wine storage. Depending on the brief, we can create wine walls, open racking, display shelving, glass-fronted storage, temperature-controlled cabinetry, tasting areas or full wine rooms designed around a cellar-style atmosphere.

Wine rooms require careful planning. Bottle depth, display angle, access, lighting, temperature, ventilation and humidity all need to be considered. Where climate control is required, our cabinetry can be designed to work with specialist systems so the room feels seamless, elegant and technically resolved.

A wine room should protect the collection while also celebrating it.
