Timeless Cabinetry with a Playful Spirit.
A Bespoke Island with a Place for Everyone.
This bespoke family kitchen was designed to feel elegant, joyful and deeply personal, combining classic handcrafted cabinetry with playful, highly considered details.
The brief was to create a luxury kitchen that worked beautifully for everyday family life, while reflecting the clients’ love of colour, character and individuality.
From the soft painted cabinetry and warm timber flooring to the rich dark pantry wall, brass hardware and statement yellow island, the overall aesthetic is refined yet full of personality.
A Kitchen Island Designed for the Whole Family.
At the heart of the design is a generous bespoke kitchen island, crafted not only as a preparation and gathering space, but as a thoughtful home for the family’s much-loved animals.
Integrated dog beds have been built seamlessly into the island, giving the family dogs their own comfortable place within the kitchen, while a dedicated tortoise house has also been cleverly incorporated into the side. These unique features are a perfect example of bespoke design at its best: practical, personal and beautifully made.
The finished kitchen is warm, uplifting and entirely individual. It balances timeless British cabinet-making with imaginative, lifestyle-led design, creating a space for cooking, entertaining, relaxing and living. More than a kitchen, it is a beautifully crafted family room, designed around the rituals, routines and beloved companions that make the home unique.

Everything you need to know...
Designing a bespoke kitchen is a significant decision, and it's natural to have questions along the way. If there's something you don't see here, our design team is always happy to talk it through.

Can a bespoke kitchen include integrated pet beds?
Yes. At Evie Willow, we can design and handcraft a bespoke dog bed directly into a kitchen island, so the family pet has a permanent, considered place at the heart of the home rather than a basket tucked into a corner.
Each integrated dog bed is designed around your pet — sized to fit their breed, positioned for warmth and quiet away from foot traffic, and finished in materials that match the surrounding cabinetry for a seamless, built-in look. Many of our clients choose to personalise the space further, with an engraved nameplate, a hand-painted initial, or a small brass plaque set into the joinery, transforming a practical feature into a lasting, sentimental detail.
We understand that pets are family, and we design with that in mind from the very first conversation. Should the time ever come, these spaces can also be thoughtfully repurposed, reimagined as additional storage, a charging drawer, or a quiet keepsake nook, designed sensitively so the memory of a beloved companion is honoured, not simply removed.
It's a small example of what bespoke really means at Evie Willow: a kitchen shaped entirely around the way you live, love and remember. -
Can I choose the wood, finishes, and paint colours for my kitchen?
Yes. We work with beautiful natural timbers such as oak, walnut, and ash, each with its own character. You can choose natural oils, stains, paints or various innovative materials to achieve the look you want — while still celebrating the strength and craftsmanship beneath.
