A Kitchen That Works as Beautifully as It Looks.

Designed Around Sightlines.

Sightlines played a defining role in the design of this kitchen. Rather than treating the kitchen as an isolated room, the design was developed around the architecture of the wider home, creating a natural visual flow between the kitchen, doorways, fireplace and adjoining living spaces.

From the island, the eye is drawn through to the fire beyond, creating a beautiful sense of connection between cooking, gathering and relaxing. Doorways were carefully considered so that each view feels intentional, balanced and inviting.

This approach gives the kitchen a calm architectural rhythm. Nothing feels accidental. The cabinetry, island, tall storage and work surfaces are all positioned to enhance the way the room is experienced, whether entering the space, preparing food, sitting at the island or looking through to the rooms beyond.

It is a kitchen designed not only for function, but for perspective.

Materials Chosen for Warmth, Texture and Balance.

As with every Evie Willow kitchen, this project was handcrafted with precision and care. The fluted Walnut required meticulous making, ensuring each detail aligned beautifully around the island. The cabinetry was designed to sit cleanly within the architecture, while the marble was carefully specified and installed to create impact and continuity.

From the movement of the doors to the proportions of the island, the depth of the display cabinetry and the alignment of the sightlines, this kitchen reflects the Evie Willow approach: intelligent design, exceptional craftsmanship and a deep understanding of how a space should feel.

The tall reeded glass cabinetry adds a further layer of refinement to the kitchen. It provides elegant storage and display while softly obscuring the contents, allowing the room to feel organised and calm.

Behind the reeded glass, timber interiors bring warmth and depth, creating a beautiful contrast with the painted outer frames. The glass catches the light gently, adding texture without making the room feel busy.

This feature also helps the kitchen feel less purely functional. It introduces the character of a dining room dresser or display cabinet, making the kitchen feel more connected to the wider living spaces of the home.
