A Sleek Contemporary Brief.

Designed for Calm, Modern Living.

This contemporary bespoke kitchen was designed with a calm, refined and beautifully tactile aesthetic. Clean lines, smooth surfaces and a soft neutral palette create a sense of quiet luxury, while warm brass and natural oak bring depth, texture and character to the space.

At the heart of the design is the use of FENIX, a highly distinctive material chosen for its sleek matt finish, smooth touch and durable performance. Its understated surface gives the kitchen a crisp, contemporary feel, balancing perfectly with the warmth of oak cabinetry, brass handles, statement pendant lighting and softly veined worktops.

The result is a modern luxury kitchen that feels elegant, practical and welcoming. Every detail has been considered, from the generous island and raised oak breakfast bar to the concealed bar cabinet with wine storage, glass rails and integrated lighting.

FENIX Cabinetry with a Tactile Matt Finish.

FENIX is central to the character of this kitchen. Its matt surface creates a smooth, refined look that feels contemporary and beautifully understated. Unlike glossier finishes, it absorbs light softly, giving the cabinetry a calm and velvety appearance.

The material is particularly suited to a kitchen of this style, where uninterrupted surfaces and precision detailing are key. The flat-fronted cabinetry allows the FENIX finish to take centre stage, creating a seamless look across the island, drawers, tall storage and integrated appliance areas.

This is a kitchen where material choice is not just decorative. The finish supports the way the room is used every day, offering a durable, practical and elegant surface for a busy modern home.

FAQs

Everything you need to know.

Designing a bespoke kitchen is a significant decision, and it's natural to have questions along the way. If there's something you don't see here, our design team is always happy to talk it through.

  • What is FENIX, and why is it used in contemporary kitchens?

FENIX is a specialist surface material known for its sleek matt appearance, smooth tactile feel and durable performance. It is well suited to contemporary kitchen design because it creates clean, uninterrupted surfaces with a refined, low-sheen finish. In this kitchen, FENIX helps achieve a calm, modern aesthetic while remaining practical for everyday use.
  • Do you offer guidance on worktops, sinks, taps, and handles?

We do. As part of our design process, we’ll guide you through all of these choices, from stone worktops to tap finishes. Our showroom includes examples so you can see and feel the options in person.

  • Can I choose the wood, finishes, and paint colours for my kitchen?

Yes. We work with beautiful natural timbers such as oak, walnut, and ash, each with its own character. You can choose natural oils, stains, paints or various innovative materials to achieve the look you want — while still celebrating the strength and craftsmanship beneath.

  • Where do I start if I’m interested in a bespoke Evie Willow kitchen?

The best place to begin is by getting in touch with our design team. You can call, email, or book a consultation. From there, we’ll guide you through every step — ideally, you’ll visit us in our Showroom and Workshop in Minster Lovell to take a closer look at what we do.
